The new Telos Call Controller is a basic, cost effective
option for call screening and on-air control of the popular Telos TWOx12
Multiline Talkshow System.
The user simply plugs any compatible analog telephone into Call
Controller, and connects it to the TWOx12 in the same way as the
familiar Desktop Director, and they are ready to screen calls, or place
lines on-air.
Like all Telos control surface options for the TWOx12, the new Call
Controller features large buttons and intuitive Status Symbols to track
at a glance the status of line and hybrid status, and whether a caller
has been screened.
Convenient keyboard shortcuts are used to switch between
Talent Mode, On-Air Control Mode and Producer (screener) Mode.
Additional keyboard short cuts allow for full support of TWO x12 Split
Mode (dual studio operation).
“By removing the Telephone functions present on the
Desktop Director, we were able to design a clean layout that operators
find very easy to learn,” says Rolf Taylor, Applications Engineer for
Telos. “Plus, the lower price now puts a TWOx12 system within the reach
of customers who, until now, had to settle for more primitive systems
without the benefits offered by our exclusive Status Symbols and digital
phone line support. We are excited by the possibilities the Call
Controller offers.”
