The newest generation of Telos products (TWOx12, Series 2101, Zephyr Xstream) include support for remote software updates via FTP. They are able to connect to an FTP server, download new software, then update themselves. However, some clients may not have Internet connectivity where their hardware is installed. 

Instead, those clients can run an FTP server on a local PC and update their gear from that server. For those clients who do not have an FTP server (and don't want to purchase one just to update the software on their Telos equipment), we provide the  Telos Software Update Server. This program runs on any PC with Windows 95 or higher, and contains complete instructions for use. 

Please refer to the software update page specific to your product to determine whether you need the Update Server; many of the latest Telos software update packages include an integrated FTP server. 

Ask your Telos Systems customer support engineer for instructions on downloading the software data files for use with this utility.
